hello workrider hope your well, i was going to aintree/kelso/muss/ but the high winds and the very difficult journey to scotland put me off,so just had a day around the house.

Having a mare myself Foxy, roof damage and have the builders in , the heating went thurs night, man came to fix it but refused to finish the job saying the builders throwing stuff off the roof put him in danger, he wont come back till Tues . Heading to the dogs tonight and Punchetown tomorrow ,dreading getting into the shower , its bloody freezing .

i will workrider ,you will like newton abbot and ludlow,warwick is on ,on the thursday that week that is one of our best national hunt courses if you can get to it, it is well worth the visit,ludlow by the way is a rotten journey time wise lots of nice scenery along the way however.

I took over from the 2nd race. the first bet I took was £1 on a 2/1 shot, I thought it going to be a long way back from here."

One day at Hereford, his machine wouldn't work when I was keen to get on a bet. No problem - he did it with no paperwork and honoured the bet with no fuss at all.
Another time, at Ludlow, he walked down to where a fallen horse lay on the ground. Fortunately, she got to her feet. We were all relieved. That told me he's a guy who cares. I have no idea how he managed to bounce back after that Ascot blow, but I'm glad he did. Top man.

intheknow explained the probable situation which i also agree is the most probable reason for seeing him,the reason for my reaction was after my post regarding the poor racing post discription of gary (tote rep}i thought like many on this forum you were just making things up,i have an awful lot of time for gary like everybody in the racing game and just felt you might have been having a dig at him,clearly you were not and hopefully you can accept my apology.
