Horse had some bad injuries through his career,no luck there either,agree could well have been placed.

I could not understand what the hell he was doing.  It looked like a deliberate move rather than the horse drifting in or running down the fence.

And no credit to Scholfield or Burke for not pulling up their tired horses.  It was not a particularly good advert for jockeyship in general.

I hope Pineau de Rey got up - there was no sign of him running loose after his fall, no mention of him by the commentator one way or the other and it looked a heavy fall.

poor jock think he would have been there as staying is his forte jockey lost the plot

Very disappointing. Looked highly likely to play a part in the finish. Jockey decides to lose he cool when challenged on his inside. Drove PK into the other horse.
