Sandown 13:00 - Fingertips - 5/2 - Owned by the Munir-Souede partnership, who often have young French breds such as Peace & Co and Top Notch who were trained by NickyH to finish 1st and 2nd in this year’s Triumph. Whilst Polarisation, who done us more than proud on the flat, is no doubt a decent horse and likes gs ground, clearly represents no value, first time out over the sticks. Fingertips first run ever beat Buddy Banks into 3rd who has since been placed in a Group II steeplechase in France, and then second run beaten under a length by Romain De Seman, who is now with Nicholls and romped in at Wincanton before finishing 3rd in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham, rated 136, with Fingertips, who has a pronounced soft ground action, bang there until 3 out. The selection who races enthusiastically, reminding me of Silviniaco Conti, is clearly a horse with potential, and at the current odds the clear choice, having had a run, and the stable is now sending out winners. Whatever the outcome, one for the stable.
Have fun,
Bob
(I have had a tickle on this as i like the angle and the headgear puts me off the fave)
well done ,a decent post whether the horse won or lost ,exactly what this forum is for ,not the usual ludicrous 'this is a cert ' or 'this can't possibly win 'garbage.
