**** race clashes, bet restrictions, small fields blah blah blah...the number one turn off for punters, in my very humble, is throwing money at horses that aren't trying i'd say i back a non-tryer about once a year...i would get bets restricted daily if i bothered to try anymore |

That wasn't an attempt to put them in order of what happens most, but as I wrote what the biggest turn off is (just my opinion though).
Congratulations on backing one non-trier a year anyway! I assume you've never backed anything bigger than 6/1 in a novice hurdle or wfa non-pattern chase?! Quite rightly too by the sound of things. |

The only way to reduce non triers is for the stewards to be thorough and competent and for the BHA to stop ignoring the vast majority of them.

It would appear that two days in a row in front of the same stewards was too much for them to take. Good.
