I just don't get the laws on restricting accounts at all

i was restricted by £365 after ONE bet  o ur obv after slipping thru the net

When you account is restricted they hide behind the ole chestnut of your account is no longer eligible for bog and special offers, this is because they don't have the balls to just tell you we don't want your business as you have had the bear faced cheek to win a few £ off of us, all the emails i have had say exactly the same.

Get campaigning to get the fobt's reduced to £2 a spin, they are making so much dosh they don't need to make any effort to actually be a bookmaker, if we go after Billy's, baldy, sadcrookes, joe's and powderpuff and cut the profits from their crack cocaine it may stir a bit of competition with the online only books too, get objecting to a licence with a new shop wants to open in your area, pass it on.

Don't bother me though in the same way as it may most of you. I probably don't want that to happen either, nothing stopping people with restricted accounts nipping out getting some fresh air and going to their shops. Just saying like.

90% of my betting I do in shops when on C4. Taking advantage of offers and price enhancements, especially prices in the rp pw tables but not always pw tips themselves.

Also a lot of my betting is antepost on the big handicaps, reading the forums and watching the markets on here you get a good idea of how the markets are going to form as you get closer to declaration day.

No chance can you get restricted in all shops, if one refuses to take a bet, just nip in car and go to the next nearest. Never had a problem on that score. Just feel a little more cheeky doing it pmsl

I went to one billys the other day, asked for 2 £50 each ways on MTOY and TNO at their prices (which as I type are still there now) with their 3 places at 1/5th, got declined, went to the next nearest and the lady behind the counter said as she put the slips through, 'Didn't my tent or yours run in the national last year?' i managed to keep a str8 face and just said no. See, who else is going to run in that Xmas hdl at Kempton other than maybe 5 of the 6 priced up now and maybe a couple of no hopers trying to get some place money? I doubt that, if sadcrookes had not made 90 odd million from fobt's over the last 5 years profits would of been zilch.

Everyone's circumstances are different, me personally i can't eat value.

I used to bet freely with that site in the dim and distant and every time that I had a bet they would change the price and it worked for both of us..

The same with paddy power skybet bluesquare and many others..

Then the dreaded accountants came in and no-one can get a bet on...

I have got the pipe and slippers but may have to work again as the young fella has to go to University next year..

There are no laws. Bookmakers will not take substantial bets from any punter they suspect of being capable of winning money.
Meanwhilte their representatives are given airtime on RUK and ATR to tell lies.

It's killing racing I punt low stakes between £5 - £25 win and e/w and I have hills, c0rals, spoil sports, sporting bet, betw@y all which I have had bog taken off and I have no chance of getting more then coppers on anything that is top price or joint top price. So frustrating getting knocked back on £2.50'e/w on a Saturday race settled down in front of the tv, sad but true.

How can you be a proper bookmaker yet offer BOG?

It is not possible for them to bet properly when many of their punters are getting SP when they have chosen to take a price that they are happy with at the time of placing the bet.

Offers that phuuck up the book should be outlawed because it means they cant offer a real bet on a properly overround book.

The sooner bookmakers are forced back to using a realistic overround to generate their horseracing profits the better it will be for all but the biggest mugs.

Like i said loper if we can disrupt the profits they make from the crack cocaine they may have to go back to bookmaking, i use the word may but it's worth a go and just think of all the good that would be spread around the gambling addicts amongst our communities.
