He's never been a manager, he's a coach. We are doomed.Sad

The clubs buying policy has failed, I wonder what one of Britain's richest men's next move will be.

My youngest son left this morning at 4am to travel to the game, he hasn't missed a game home and away for years. Maybe that's where the problem lies. Mr Ashley knows that the supporters will turn up week in week out however the team are performing.

He has spent money close season, but, the clubs buying policy has failed for a number of years in his time at the club and has done so again.

The problem is no manager worth his salt will come to the club and work under the restrictions imposed by Ashley. They can't chose the players they want. Until this season the policy has been to sign promising players with a view to selling them on at a profit aka Cabaye.

You can't have a successful football club with that strategy. Ashley is using Newcastle United to maximise the exposure of his core business Sports Direct. It's all very sad for the thousands of supporters who have been starved of success for decades.

50 years of winning nowt.....one thing has been there all these years........the FansLaugh

They are actually the cause of Newcastle's problems.

So unless they all feck off you can expect to see another 50 years of the same pantomime.

You're right, but, that will never happen.
