Straight to the Point,have seen the replay on RUK tonight and after making a mistake 6 out about 20 yards after the fence Paul Townsend looked DOWN and looked to be pulling horse up or at least cantering back at sedate pace.
Out of shot it appears he FELL at 5th Last....cannot work out what he was thinking?....Any thoughts? Opinions welcome.

horses can sense if a rider is scared or worried . perhaps the negativity spread to the horse , and once u get out of a rythem its hard to get it back ., on top the stable are not in form

agree seaside...no way it should have been asked to jump another fence the way it had stopped quickly before going out of shot
