Race 2 - 12:50pm THE BETFRED TV CONDITIONAL JOCKEYS' NOVICES' HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) (Betfred Hurdle Series Qualifier)
The Stewards held an enquiry into the use of the whip by Joe Colliver, the rider of the winner, LIBBY MAE (IRE), from the last hurdle. Having heard his evidence and viewed recordings of the race, they found him in breach of Schedule (B)6 Part 2 in that he had used his whip above the permitted level. The Stewards suspended Colliver for 2 days as follows: Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 December 2015

Good spot. Saving all the hits for the final furlong or run in means the public keep the same general impression of abuse that they had pre-rule change.
