Started going again a circuit later in time with ATR on cable.
Froze util last two flights. Rubbish service. You can land men on the moon but you cant get a decent video link to Fairyhouse!!!!
The interesting thing is that the clock was 7.5 seconds ahead of the ATR pics on my TV, but the pics were behind!
Mines 7 seconds behind ATR so thats about 1/2 a day behind
It's ridiculous - at least tweeting them gets an immediate response.

Was only 3 secs behind ATR for me on Sky digital through a dish?
3,4,5,6 - 10 -who cares Latalomne- ATR is behind live by 5 seconds so being behind ATR is a joke.
and yet if lv was let's say 2 secs ahead of atr instead of the usual 4 ish....you would barely see any moaning about it although it is a far worse situation...because it's a more snidey situation
I see George Irvine finally leaves SIS/ATR soon. Hopefully things will improve for us with him gone. Appalling service.
with technology now, it is possible to re-stream pics from the course to users at home, within 0.5 of a second .
It is possible to re-stream pictures to home within 300 milliseconds, as I have witnessed
Perform used to stream fast pictures and ATR knocked it on the head. Why?

I am guessing it is not in the tracks favour to let betfair do this via ATR/RUK as they will lose the income from the on course box players .

I know ATR bookmaker owned are pretty anti betfair, but why would RUK not allow betfair this ?
Courses can't resist the tide of the tablet player. May as well allow fast pics for a reasonable charge.
Pablo - I would agree about tracks losing money if they did this, but I understand some people/groups are already cutting out the tracks by paying staff on course to stream pictures back to their homes/offices.
90 mins since Betfair acknowledged the problem, yet nothing's changed.
Pablo - No they are using some software to stream from 1 laptop on course to whoever is "paying enough"

Pablo - a steep sum being paid, i'm sure Betfair could afford it, its the legality of these pictures that would be the problem.

Not sure what you mean Ocean - they mean the problem with the satellite means the pictures are unusually delayed. Seems a fair enough response to me.
People with satellite dishes are watching the pictures. The satellite seems ok for them.
what's wrong with the satellite then when the LV remains ahead of ATR but the delay sneakily is cut from 4 ish secs ahead to 2 secs ahead as regularly happens at Chelmsford even fontwell at the weekend was slow.
Well done to Betfair for completely failing to resolve this issue and also for not keeping us informed of the lack of progress.

a) A leveller playing field with people paying say on average 4% commission
b) Some people having an advantage and winning lots of money but they pay you on average 40% Premium Charge
Of course a) should improve liquidity but would it be enough to offset the reduction in charges, particularly as more players means more IT, infrastructure costs etc.
Think of Premium Charge as Protection Money, then it all becomes clear.

but I don't think it is as straight forward as that .
I think the better players would still pay PC so I don't think betfair would lose out there .
