Brave Jaq, who runs in the first at Plumpton, got the RP close up comment "small" when he made his debut for Nicholls at Chepstow.

That's a first, can't say I've ever seen that in an RP 'close-up' before, largely cuz they tend not to comment on a horse's physique!

Remember it being said about another horse. Was Richard Lowther that time too. Must be a niche of his.

Small, disputed 2nd until ridden and dropped out rapidly 2 out

And if PN does have a small one he don't half put it about a bit ;)

I've just had a look at him in the Chepstow race on the SL website, and at least compared to the Henderson horse (who won today also), he does look vertically challenged!

haha yes but he calls that one "tall" !

Tall, raced keenly, close 2nd mostly until led going well and left clear 3 out, 15 lengths ahead next, hacked on, unchallenged

Not sure tall helps us much but I suppose you might be against a "small" one in a big field? Getting intimidated or whatever.

Oh yes, I hadn't noticed that, and I see he described the Mulholland horse as big and strong, fancy that...
