roida, I didn't have a bet as I was watching Cheltenham but once they had jumped off I thought that Faugheen looked a very different shape from last year when he looked really lean and leggy.

roida "1/5 not to fall shirley?"[/i]

Unlucky roida sorry you did your dough, at least you got a run and you know you called it wrong e.g. it didn't fall.

You can forgive any horse a defeat 1st time out and the winner's no slouch either. Write off Faugheen at your peril.

Doesn't matter whether he bet it or not,he tips up a 1/5 shot as value and it gets beat. Perfect example of why he is a pre race failed punter and now just a not a clue money buyer with fast picsWink

if you new the weights would you be more likely to avoid a horse because it had put on weight since its last run or back it because it had put on condition ,surely it would only help if you knew its optimum racing weight which only those on the inside would no

Didn't expect faugheen to win easy in this race thought its class would show At the business end, but if you bet this horse at 1/5 on 1st run of season do yourself a favour and stop punting, if you fancy the occasional punt go to the bingo with your Mrs..
