Having put my scoopy on I had £1.60 left so done 8 x 20p lines... didn't think you could do less than 2 quid... banked on the winner but switched pages when it touched 40s... Blaklion in the next... only semi-aftertiming as I've won owt yet...

Cheers guys... very speculative perm with the likes of Present View and Splash of Ginge in the big one... be nice if it were like Gold Cup day 2014... 44k if I remember rightly...

I looked at the winner here last night and scratched it off as per http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/article/465/9362579/mal-boyles-placepot-picks
I actually backed the nick Williams horse at 25/1 in the 1st but could not bring myself to put it in the pp as my perm would have increased from 1080 x 3p to 1620 bets and I thought it was to much to pay out. if the horse had won instead of finishing 2nd itwould have softened the blow

Hills accept it on a betting slip as long as the units are for less than 5p though some of the staff don't know or want to take them as they have to settle them manually.

I have put them on in 5 hills shops and only one gave me any hassle until his manager came in and agreed they take them. I have been told the new cross meeting placepot has to be done on a totedirect slip as the pools are to small.
