Surely Hugh Taylor should be AW only tipster

Wish he confined himself to the jumps Duncan. He messes the market too often for me, and no one can ever get a bet. Totally pointless if you ask me.

I have said a few times re Hugh the i have a heap of respect for him as a judge and he does seem a decent fella, but the only people who benefit are the firms who immediately cut the price when he sticks one up. I imagine that he does similar sort of work to me ie sectionals and ground loss et al so the amount of times he does tip one up that i like is much too often for my liking. Obviously there are some occasions when i like something else in a race and so the ' value' becomes slightly in my favour , overall though i could do without his column.

You say you don't bet pre race does that mean you only play in running?

mainly IR but i just dont follow AW form that closely, mainly cos 75% of it is on slow-pics...i'll have the odd pre-race bet over jumps

I bow to clever forum users who are right that is impossible to get hugh sel at adv prices an I am told backing 20-1 tips at 10-1 as happens with his tips. Is there any way of making a profit on his sel its so frustrating to see this chap every year making a profit in poor quality racing. If one had  a £20 win on his sel at the second price available surely a smaller profit would be better than nothing ? Would be grateful any body has a view!

That is a difficult one because his cohorts have taken the profits before the selections are posted..

I would say lay the beasts but those that are far cleverer than me (and there are a few) have settled on a price on here..

My advice would be to bet on the race taking a couple of selections that have been pushed out in price....

Or, make a note of his losing selections and back them next time

Ignore all his jumps bets and just bet his Lingfield and Wolverhampton bets over the winter
months...
