The news came on the same day the Turf Club handed Flat rider Shane Kelly a two-year ban, the second year of which is suspended.
Kelly, who rode a handful of winners in Britain in 2011 and 2012 before returning to Ireland, tested positive for benzoylecgonine and ecgonine methyl esther - metabolites of cocaine - after a meeting at Leopardstown on August 13.
His suspension starts on November 24 and Kelly, based with Curragh trainer Michael O'Callaghan, will be subjected to random drug testing for the next two years.
