If he is classed as a runner given the build up then it will be a complete farce.

Under the rules of racing that horse should be deemed a runner. If the stewards choose to ignore the rules that's up to them.
By:
How can they call it a NR?
Scholfield was mounted at the start. Horse is a pig, and anyone that backed him pre-race needs to give themselves a good talking to!!! |
By:
JOCKEY AND TRAINER NEED A SMACK THEY SHOULD HAVE REMOVED THE HORSE
By:
Laid it, he lined up in my opinion, it was a lay to nothing virtually. No guarantee to win if he started, was always likely to give ground at the
start in that mood................and the brucie bonus, may not start. If he is declared a runner in, which he should, punters were ripped off, he was never going, and if like me you laid it, and it is declared a non runner, disgraceful. Horse lined up with field, whilst being held. Have said on here many times, if a horse makes no attempt to jump first.............NON RUNNER. |

By:
IKDW,calm down, just a question, havent got access to pictures at the mo
By:
Be amazed if it wasn't classed as a runner although it was obvious to anyone with half a brain he wasnt interested and should never have been led to the start.

By:
slybet given it as a NR.
By:
sportinglife say it's a runner
By:
Looking at the replay, a 'runner' imo
By:
don't care much about the people that lose their winning lay bets on a horse that was obviously not going to start but it has wider implications, anyone who did a back to lay on the winner will be unhappy when they realise they've laid it IR at a HIGHER price than they backed it prerace through no fault of their own. There should be no confusion here, it's either led away and dismounted and then they race or its under oders,m zero room for a grey area here imo
By:
usual chaos and lack of info, no doubt will take an age to make a decision
By:
Absloute certain runner ,otherwise the starter would have had it removed from the rest of the field.
By:
*absolute
By:
Looking at the replay, a 'runner' imo
