Not just here, but with any of the highstreet bookmakers.
I have had heaps of accounts in friends names and tried lots to keep them open. I always have a few decoy “mug” bets but I’m reluctant to in essence give away more than a couple of quid on each of these. This worked before but my last batch of accounts were scrapped once I had one big bet decent on each. I have my tracks covered re IP address and cookies.
The only way I found I could get a solid amount of time out of an account was either inherit a long term (1+ years) losing account from a mug, or have lost a lot myself from decent stake mug bets which is pretty much the same as the first way. Both of these I won much more than the initial loss but obviously I’m not keen on purposely losing lots of money in hope that my account will last more than the usual few days.
What tactics have you guys found the most effective?
I am getting down to bare bones now, several closed and several restricted. From some reason B365 still going strong and over the last two years I have deposited ~£500 and taken out ~£3000. BetFair still going strong.
The best tactics are to lose in casino/games they never close accounts flagged as complete mug.

I agree with Storm Alert B365 who a certain poster seems to detest are the only bookies who I have managed to be in profit with long term and have never had any problems with them. My profit is only about £900 over 3 years though

fife they are the original scum and if you think that £900 over three years is a profit then you are the original village idiot..
I have found more money in the street over the period and given back twice as much to Muslim Asylum seekers with backpacks...

Hay???
Surely you use both exchange and bookie?? What do you suggest? Just lay down and give up?

It was a way of saying that if punters are dissatisfied with bookies (as hundreds of boring posts on here will testify) then don't use them. Use the exchange instead where you have no problems with withdrawals and you can have a bet without being restricted.

swift tuttle you are forgetting PC and lack of money in early markets and no money at all ever in secondary markets.
overseas' users of betfair have to pay 6.5-7% commission which means it's better to use bookies for them.

El Capitan, best to pick up used accounts that will already have a "mugs" label put on them by the traders, important to match their normal level of stakes initially and mimic their normal betting pattern with a couple of red herring mug bets dotted in amongst your new bets, hopefully their radar won't pick you up for a while unless you hit a major winning run, avoid taking obvious ricks as well, good luck.

much more to do with your bets than if they win or not. £50 at 10/1, goes off 9/2 and loses. you're £50 down and ya barred. also if it was 9.8 on here when you put the £50 on, ya barred.

It seems to me that you are barred whatever happens as you have your betting patterns identified via data being shared between the "firms" which has to be a serious concern...
I have done my conkers on the exchange and yet within a week of the sports site being opened I was restricted to the max £2.50.....
One day a serious investigation will take place but that fool "paul haigh - total respect" will not have a part of it....
