Actually, the favourite is probably a bit good. Triple Crowns don't fall out of the trees.
BUT... Its odd that AoB sends Gleneagles here. He has said this is his best ever miler (had one or two good ones...).
But this is 1m 2f. And dirt, which Gleneagles has not run before. Is AoB running for fun. My suspicion is that this was always the plan and the recent run was an excellent sharpener.
I suspect AoB knows rather more about all this than I do... and he just managed to narrowly beat Golden Horn with Found.
What's to say he can't beat this fav too?

Fair play to them for entering, makes the race much more interesting.

Frankel would have beat him 8L like he beat everything else, that was the worst Classic you are ever likely to see in your life, hes a great horse but hes no Secretariat or Frankel
how did effinex finish second ahead of tonalist and honour code?
PS. As its hilarious that anyone could think of AP as the best ever US horse, I'm still waiting for what is presumably a pretty long list of horses better than him?

For me Frankel the best I have seen, but AP isn't that far behind. And difficult to compare as one is turf other is dirt.

Was just saying it for effect, but that was an unbelievable performance there.

Tonalist is a Belmont Bully, anyone backing him outside Belmont wants sectioned.

the fact that Frankel never ran beyond 10f, or on dirt makes them completely incomparable.
Frankel was unreal in the QA but i'm pretty sure u'll find he didnae beat CdA 8l
Both top horses but Frankel was awesome at Newmarket as a 3 yr old. Sir Cecil said he was the best he'd trained.
