They had the chance but sold the Tote to a bookmaker instead of converting it to an exchange.

when exchanges first came out everyone knew roggrains suggestion should happen, trouble is the racing authorities only had ears for the bookies and were more intent on trying to destroy it

I'll e-mail the RCA with the idea. They could set it up in association with the racecourses.Could be a waste of time but something has to be

done to halt the complete takeover of the game by the high street mob.

Any suggestions to include in the e-mail would be welcome.

terminals at the racecourse with a nice comfy seat and waitress service would be nice,do away with corporate,it's the way forward
