I unfortunately was!
I am aware the great AOB started this little ditty but why every trainer uses it as a line is beyond me?
We are listening whilst you are talking.....we do not need instruction ffs.
Onlooker is due to bowlark me in fairness after i dug him out about something just as trivial....but it bugs me

Thought you were on the sauce George but well dug up 
Movewiththesauce, this thread, and I'm sure there were others too, were started because people were not used to hearing interviewers being told to "listen" after asking a question, far from it and it certainly wasn't "common parlance" to start a sentence with "Listen".
Fair enough George was tongue in cheek, you can't argue with AOB records though, so yes listen to a genius
