The fortunate few who still have access to the old site are keeping quiet about how to do it because of the huge advantage it offers Whoops

I got in by going to the aussie racing, but I clicked a few buttons and got beamed back to the sh1te site.
its like star trek for fooks sake"one false click and its beam me up scotty"but you can get in,its a matter of finding out how to stay in.

I am back to the sh1te site now, once I clicked on sport I was beamed back to it,but I am still on the old forum.
it just goes to show that the old site is still there, and still working no problem, betfair are really mean at what they are at.
it should be reported to the papers by someone with a bit of clout.no doubt heads will roll in betfair management but alas it will be too late for you or I.
I did not believe to old site was still working until I stumbled into it tonight.God I better stop writing of I will say something I will regret.but BETFAIR are a thundering disgrace for doing what they are doing and the old site is still working perfectly.

I'm on the **** site and were so many markets some with nil liquidity or activity like four a place yesterday and A v B finding football matches for scottish was beyond a simpleton like me and went purple.

I posted the link here yesterday but Betfair has now deleted it!!

They are really something.

I will post it again in code - as I have in the past on other threads.

What on earth do Betfair think they are doing?

They really should focus their efforts on having a stable and dependable IT system, and not undertaking silly schoolboy activities.

"Let them eat cake"

That is their attitude to their customers.

Just blatant lies and spin.

Spending most of my time on Purple, please do the same.

The link has been posted and removed on several occasions by both mememe and myself. That is why it is now posted in that "slavver" as you put it. Nevertheless people can still follow the posting and get to the old site which is all that matters.

it's just that my link is a bit more fun ... and, dare I say it - it's darkly exciting, with a hint of subterfuge,
whereas your link is utilitarian and rather bland. I suppose it does the job but it's not very exciting ... a bit Ford Focus if you ask me.

Works fine for me in IE 11 - are  you sure you don't have popups blocked?

Regardless, the page it pops up is

https://livevideo.betfair.com/Default.do

- you may as well just bookmark that.

I see they've deleted my link in code, so it must mean the eagle eyed moderator is reading the detail of the posts to look for any hint of a link to the old site.

If you're reading this, moderator, why, why, why?

If only Betfair was as assiduous at making sure their IT worked consistently.

Newcastle, 14.30 suspend ... what's the answer then?

They deleted 2 of mine as well. At least some of us are helping their customers.
By:

When: 17 Aug 15 14:41
sparrow,

I really do despair.  It's so childish and to have somebody monitoring these posts in case anybody tries to help their customers is off my scale of experience.

I have never come across anything like it.

What don't they get?  The reason why people want the old site is that the new site is hopeless.
By:
sparrow
When: 17 Aug 15 14:52
Some people have even used the private message system to obtain the link from me.
I think they know that the new site is inferior but they have invested so much that they daren't admit it.

Betfair don't understand the concept of if its not broken don't fix it, they did it with the api as well, and the new api is shocking

The api is an absolute bstd.  Changing screens and confirming all the time, with no options.  Also slow as blcks!

the problem with the new site is that it is designed with the recreational punter in mind, but they are all sent to the sportsbook.
