absolutely wondersobright the sooner we go back to a Tuesday to Thursday july MEETING the better with the july cup on Thursday.
used to love when the ebor meeting was tuesday to thursday and you could have a leisurely drive up on sunday to the hotel.
then after breakfast on monday it was always off to the shops so the women could spend loads of money on outfits for the 3 days.
then when it was all over it was a drive down the A1 on friday to the hotel in newmarket for the more relaxed friday and saturday meeting down in suffolk.
all in all a great weeks racing back when racing knew what it was doing.
