Absolute joke of a ride....didnt settle the horse, then strangled it, then totally bottles it throughout the last two furlongs because other horses with more motivated jockeys came close to him. Goldolphin need to get rid of this to$$er a.s.a.p.

I absolutely hate to say this because I have never sat on a horse in my life, but....Buick is an absolute coward in the saddle, he even looks like he is scared of his own shadow. The guy needs to do some self evaluation and decide whether he actuially should be rding these horses are seeking a new career.

I backed him and far from convinced he would have won. As for the maiden he won being rubbish, have a look at some of the maidens he went close in last year.

That's the 3rd time this year , forgave the horse the 1st 2 runs but that was poor even allowing for elsworth being out of form

The guy needs to do some self evaluation and decide whether he actuially should be rding these horses are seeking a new career. He's earned over £250k p.a over the last 5 years, I don't think the self examination is going to take too long. |

For anyone else, that would be very sound advice  . The difficulty is that Basil struggles to find any jockey who meets his exacting standards, so has to resort to backing jockeys he does not rate. |
