Braes Of Lochalsh, 4.35 Ayr, 1pt EW
Stoutly bred son of Tiger Hill who caught the eye a couple of times in maidens and wasn't given a mark until after his fourth outing; the anticapted improvement hasn't been forthcoming since handicapping and stepped up in trip, but his best run came when encountering some ease in the ground over 2m at Newcastle and it could be good to firm hasn't suited in two runs since; now 9lb below his opening mark and given another chance in the hope the ground doesn't dry out too much.
