Henry Candy used to have a sprinter called Rough Love. She lost her mother at birth - hence the name. I think she might have gone on to win one of the big Ripon spint handicaps.

Gembridge Jupiter. A superb chaser trained by (Chris Trietline?). Something of a standing dish at Stratford in his pomp and won a race at the Aintree National Meeting iirc.

Nothing scientific on breeding, but I did enjoy the humour behind 'Some Horse' and 'Another Horse' owned by Robbie Fowler & Steve McManaman - the commentaries just made me smile :)

LLamedos. There was also a house of that name in Kingston on Thames. It was at a bus stop and it took me a while to get it.

National winner Shelia's Cottage. In Edinburgh they used to have an old bus named that it had been converted into toilets and was parked under the Castle in Johnston Terrace for use during the Tattoo.

First Service sired by Blushing Groom out of a mare called Tournament Player.  Brilliantly named horse who unfortunately was pretty useless though ran in late 80's or early 90's.

EasterEEL, Kalaglow and Storm Bird are some of my favourites.

Exotic Dancer (FR) Love b g Turgeon (USA) - Northine (FR) (Northern Treat) RIP nothing fancy in the name but conjures up some fantasy moments (females) died after a race in 2009 as a 9yo (172) after a gallant effort against Madison Du Berlais in 2009 who had 13 more races without another win before retiring ...
