The time and the visual impression would suggest otherwise. Even if they change it the official formbook will inaccurately record the opener as good to firm. This sort of ineptitude/dishonesty is the sort of thing the BHA should be looking into.

Nothing worse than inaccurate going reports, and deliberately prepared track biases like we see at Royal Ascot every single year, absolutely scandalous, but no doubt done to assist their bookie paymasters.
