Clearly determined to win allowed his mount to lean on and hang toward Lee's mount. He didn't change his whip hand but just fought it out. Yesterday Swift (not riding one of Ellison's horses) changed his whip hand very late in the race and lost it at that moment (gifting DeSousa the win on an Ellison horse). As a punter I say well done fella. (and I was on Lee's)
