Why is the Irish Derby run so late in the day ?

probably for the telly ratings and to sell more guinness at the curragh

salmon doesnt go "on the lash"-he may take in a pimms or martini shaken not stirred on the veranda followed by venison and a splendid shiraz watching the sun go down
