How can I get the best LAY price?
If you mean how to obtain the lowest price that a losing horse traded at both pre-race and in-running, then there is no method available to achieve that. If you knew of one, you would be come a multi-millionaire within a few days.

Is it better to LAY a horse, or place a bet on all the other horses (in the right proportion) ?



There should be no difference.

If you talking about the BACK column and the LAY column then it is obviously better to back all the others in the right proportion.  Good luck with that venture!!!

Good god at least open a new account so it isn't bleeding obvious to anybody with 2 braincells that this is a fishing trip by an old, lonely man with sod all better to do with their retirement. Please do carry on.........
