there was a rugby match shown on sky sports 3 where the site went down after 20 minutes ....

it came back on at some point in the 2nd half and I was able to claw about 30% of my losses back

..... the result was in doubt until the last second so I couldn't risk losing more.

I rang the help desk twice - once during the stoppage when I asked for all in running bets to be voided .. and secondly when the person I spoke to didn't realise I'd been using the betfair exchange and initially gave spurious incorrect answers ... when I mentioned denial of service attacks he didn't know what I was talking about.

I got nothing.
