Had more than enough time to take the wide route. Opted to come back inside for more cover when no need to. Total balls up of a ride

What bit of it being keen and nearly winning the hottest 7f race of the season on the snaff makes you think it wants further?  It'd be equally effective over 6f.

When somebody writes "should of won", you know it is pointless discussing any important matter with them.

7f is probably ideal for it, yeah.  It definitely doesn't want further at this stage of its career.  Lack of top 7f races and Gleneagles being a stand-out miler suggests it'll probably be over 6f sooner rather than later and you definitely wouldn't oppose it on trip grounds.
