Someone said "knackers" on her show last night, she nearly choked.

Ironically, in the old days, large events like this really would need to be scheduled with the BBC owing to the limited availability of outside broadcast cameras.
Before television, both Royal Ascot and Wimbledon were part of the "social season" (think debs and so on).

Cannot take her seriously now after choosing a Pimms & Oars event over the Grand National, as the OP says this Hoity Toity gig is right up her street.
