Jumps trainers dominate this race, and I can see this year being no different. Willie Mullins holds a strong hand, and whilst Clondaw Warrior looks sure to go well, preference if for DIGEANTA, who sneaks in as bottom weight.
The 8 yr old is only a 1lb higher than when finishing a highly commendable 5th to Big Easy ( a few of these in behind ) in last year's Cesarewitch, and was given a nice pipe opener 11 days ago over an inadequate 15f at Leopardstown, which should have put him spot on for this.
The 16's available yesterday and the 14's available earlier are gone, but the 12's still looks worth taking.
ROYAL HUNT CUP - Wednesday
Clearly wide open, but I simply can't let the Stoute trained MUNAASER go unbacked at a big looking 25/1. He looks a typical Stoutey improver, and whilst he needs to be forgiven a shocker at Newbury 32 days ago ( Hannigan reported he hung so badly right he was unable t ride it ), if he's over whatever was wrong that day he's got to run a big race here.
