Thing is say Crosser (or anybody else) started with all these losers (albeit some of them close) and then had the winners he had at the start would you still say the above? I'm pretty sure what the general reaction on here would've been!
As I've stated earlier, backing at these prices you will back lots of losers, that can be mitigated by spotting horses likely to shorten pre race or being able to lay off ir. Crosser has done ok at this but enough of his tips haven't been backed anything like he's said they would and have been unsighted in the race. I'm not having a dig at Crosser at all and I have no idea how well he does with his betting - I doubt very much he only bets these 1 horses every day but i don't really care. The only 'issue' i have is that he does seem to have 'words' from many stables up and down and across the country - it would be unusual to have such widespread contacts but not impossible. He was doing better when he started posts with 'I know nothing!' Good luck to him but (as i'm sure he is aware!) he aint the messiah!

sounds like you care judging by that essay, spyker.

I've rarely seen crooser boast about having contacts so that seems a bit misdirected.

Start, middle or late on. It doesn't matter when his winners come. As long as when they do they take care of all the losses.
And his more than do that. That's all that matters!

Heard that the Prescott horse, Big Thunder, is more fancied than the 16-1 might imply in the 5.15 at Sunny Epsom.

jamesdean - it obv very much does matter. As stated if he'd started with 50 losers and then picked a 50's shot people would say he is 'desperate' and if it wins he would be 'lucky' - it's happened often enough on here! Crosser had a fair few losers before the masses started reading but had big priced winners early on from then so he's seen as shrewd early on and it sticks. A reputation he obviously isn't going to discourage!
Anyway i hope we all have a decent Ascot, I've got a decent war chest after yesterday and I'm sure Crosser will at the very least find some value for those that need it found!

I just don't understand how anyone can criticise someone who tips up massive outsiders and actually wins. level stakes he would be well up definitely. better than koi's hunter tips odds on, evens- 'cant lose', usually nearer last than first and he gets congratulated, UNBELIEVABLE

why posters are not left alone is beyond me,its a forum for people to air their views.
Koi likes Hunter Chases,Crooser likes to pick big odds, who cares, people are not being
forced to bet,Roida likes to use his computer skills to make money gl to him.
wish people would get on and probably betfair would be a more profitable place.
its like you are all survivors from a plane crash on the mountain, instead of helping

Crooser plays longuns or overpriced horses (in our opinion) as do i.

Koi plays Hunters and very well.

Roida has an edge being on track or trading shops.

Grimmy arbs as do others.

Mange says he studies form.

Elise does the French.

Sir Bond and Zodie do the commas.

Zip does waffle and after timing.

We all play at what suits us best and what we think will bring us the best return financially.

Why punting "styles" get knocked on here is beyond me. You win you lose and that stands for all of us imo.

I backed Extortionist this time last year after reading his thread, I was on at 14s and it came in at about 7s. He's had at least 5+ 28/1 winners because I backed some of them and left some alone. Plus there's been loads of winners at 10/1+ where I didn't even see his thread until after the race.

He's a good bloke who doesn't deserve any grief, and I'm shocked that he actually gets any on here. Gamblers are suppose to be good judges!

Apart from lying or bet editing we are all pretty much the same on here....

We win, we lose. The better punters are more consistent with their wins....that is all.

It is like golf. The lower handicappers do what they need to more consistently than the higher handicappers. It is all about consistency...no more no less.
