London is of course still the greatest city in the world. Vibrant and intoxicating, I genuinely feel a little pity for those who don't understand its complexities.

the new road cricket ground at worcester. used to be one of the most beautiful and iconic cricket grounds in the world before they pulled down the old pavilion and built the doliveire stand and that god awful hotel eyesore. miss the old green scoreboard witn that old bloke in the flat cap who used to stick his head out and move the numbers by hand when they got stuck. and the old geezer who used to come out in the lunch interval with his dog and paint the white crease markings and curly and his yearbooks...
