has anyone seen any quotations from the balding stable regards the running of this beast.i would just like to read what they had to say.

tried to chase the pace..didnt settle, didnt act on the course. would have preferred softer ground.

all in all , not a great day at the office. Such is racing

As far as i can see the way the horse ran in the race justified I Balding seniors remark to the owner last year that he thought the horse would not act on the course had it been up to the trainer i don't think it would have run at epsom .
Jockey gave probably the worst ride in a derby since Dancing Brave - which didn't help matters.......
1.01 to be running over Hurdles within the next 2 years
nothing to do with not handling the course...got sucked into going too quick and is almost certainly a stone inferior to the winner anyway
ps i would now prefer to back said horse over 8 - 10 furlongs tbh.gl
Just going to say I think it's best win is behind it. The two year old races aren't as strong as they were.
think they got sucked into media that golden horn was a doubtful stayer, and tried to expose him, cant believe these tatics had anything to do with trainer or jockey.
