had a leg in one tonight at Hamilton, would never have won, the winner looks listed class at least but the jockeys orders were to tuck in and follow the favourite. he bounces out and makes the running. feel sorry for the trainer though who was spitting feathers. the horse will have another day but would guess the jockey wont be in the plans.
my point was the jockey rode the horse last time came in and said he needs to be held up and should always be ridden that way. his orders tonight were to hold him up and follow the favourite, so he bounces out and tries to make all.

Not hard is it? Jumps him out first and finishes near the back. Horsebox turns up before 9am next morning.... Never won again!

Always annoying if the jockey doesn't ride to the connections requests, but I doubt that it would have changed the result too muck, maybe finished a little closer to the winner. The interesting thing with your horse is that he wouldn't have relished the soft ground in his first race, and 9f is likely too far on breeding. Might be worth getting him a handicap mark now, and then trying him on the AW at around 7/8F. I think he might surprise you under those race conditions.

I did not see the race but I just read RP in running and it says pulled hard. Do you think the trainer was being a bit harsh especially as it was the same jockey as before.
Probably needs gelding.

to be honest the post was made after a few sherbets but for me trust is 100% and if you are told instructions and decide to do your own thing then you take the consequences. thanks for the posts though, the horse will win and win soon
