gave up on Ponte photos after one earlier in the season...horse's @rse was about a yard behind the rest but somehow it had won a head despite looking no better than 3rd...not a great angle on the telly anyway and they're almost certainly not freezeframing it at the right point half the time..and for that reason, i'm out.

I wonder if those big 1.01 photo backers make it pay. He/they seem to be first into the market on the obvious ones, plus seeing freeze frames not available to the rest of us? Live re-winding his sky box maybe. It seemed yesterday he steamed in as soon as it opened before the shrewdies/those taking a chance because of the notorious angle pushed the price out to the more realistic 1.16 or whatever.

Just seen the recording of that race and that was as crazy a photo result as I've ever seen!
It looked impossible...if that was in the 80's, plenty of pisspots would've walked out of the bookies throwing their tickets away (never to find out the result) and the staff would've been sworn to their code of 'Omerta'
