Report howard June 7, 2015 2:16 PM BST
the only thing wrong was running hurricane fly
Report Wesdag June 7, 2015 2:17 PM BST
why couldn't they just show a recording in the 15 mins to the next race?
Report 1830 June 7, 2015 2:17 PM BST
THICK AS FCUK.

A group one champion hurdle Vs A class four novice hurdle?

You can please some of the people some of the time............
Report onehundredandeighty June 7, 2015 2:32 PM BST
Agree with OP
Report Wesdag June 7, 2015 2:39 PM BST
I think the clue is in the name.
Report blunder June 7, 2015 2:40 PM BST
You may prefer to watch a minor £5 novice hurdle from Perth ,but too dismiss a Grade 1 £210.000 French Champion hurdle containing
Hurricane Fly with five other English /Irish entries ,as a mere trifle, you are assessing your priorities above those of the sport!
Report blunder June 7, 2015 2:41 PM BST
Should be £5K not £5 !
Report Wesdag June 7, 2015 2:42 PM BST
They could have just shown a recording of the French race.

No need to show it live if it clashes with a UK race.
Report ashleigh June 7, 2015 2:46 PM BST
they could have shown a recording of the class 4 novice hurdle at perth.
Report wondersobright June 7, 2015 2:48 PM BST
what they could do is set up a separate international racing channel and then domestic racing fans would be able to enjoy (uninterrupted) coverage of what they are paying for ffs
Report wondersobright June 7, 2015 2:48 PM BST
then if you wanna watch french racing or yank racing or whatever fck off to that channel
simples
Report s.kenbo June 7, 2015 2:58 PM BST
Surely nobody had a bet in the 2.10 at Perth anyway!!!
Report Wesdag June 7, 2015 3:06 PM BST
Was there much i/r betting for the French race?
Report Wesdag June 7, 2015 3:07 PM BST
Obviously the French racing fans don't bet i/r.
Report ashleigh June 7, 2015 3:10 PM BST
it's not about betting in running, it's about watching one of the all time great hurdlers in hurricane fly.
Report Wesdag June 7, 2015 3:18 PM BST
Laugh

racing is all about betting, pure and simple
Report blunder June 7, 2015 3:20 PM BST
Basically if you follow your argument through, if there was a 4.30 at Musseburgh on Arc day ,that should be shown in preference to
the 1 1/2 mile premier race at Longchamp,in case a few people have had some in running bets.Your logic is staggering.
Report jmdc June 7, 2015 3:20 PM BST
They could have waited at Perth for the French Champion Hurdle.
Report Wesdag June 7, 2015 3:22 PM BST
What's the problem if it's shown 5 mins later, blunder?
Report adamski June 7, 2015 3:23 PM BST
The clue should be in the name of the channel, Racing UK. Anyone who wanted to watch the French could have watched it on ATR. Can't be many RUK viewers without ATR.
Report s.kenbo June 7, 2015 3:26 PM BST
Agree with you there. ^^

I can only assume that Racing uk didn't want to lose out to their main rival.
Report jmdc June 7, 2015 3:31 PM BST
At The Irish Races would have been more interested in their precious 2:05 Curragh surely?

kelso on arc day Love

Report Wesdag June 7, 2015 3:41 PM BST
Let's hope the race planners are sensible to ensure the Arc doesn't clash with Kelso or Huntingdon.

Cool
