You may prefer to watch a minor £5 novice hurdle from Perth ,but too dismiss a Grade 1 £210.000 French Champion hurdle containing
Hurricane Fly with five other English /Irish entries ,as a mere trifle, you are assessing your priorities above those of the sport!
By:

When: 07 Jun 15 14:41
Should be £5K not £5 !

They could have just shown a recording of the French race.

No need to show it live if it clashes with a UK race.

they could have shown a recording of the class 4 novice hurdle at perth.
By:
wondersobright
When: 07 Jun 15 14:48
what they could do is set up a separate international racing channel and then domestic racing fans would be able to enjoy (uninterrupted) coverage of what they are paying for ffs
By:
wondersobright
When: 07 Jun 15 14:48
then if you wanna watch french racing or yank racing or whatever fck off to that channel
simples

Surely nobody had a bet in the 2.10 at Perth anyway!!!
By:
Wesdag
When: 07 Jun 15 15:06
Was there much i/r betting for the French race?
By:
Wesdag
When: 07 Jun 15 15:07
Obviously the French racing fans don't bet i/r.
By:
ashleigh
When: 07 Jun 15 15:10
it's not about betting in running, it's about watching one of the all time great hurdlers in hurricane fly.

Laugh

racing is all about betting, pure and simple

Basically if you follow your argument through, if there was a 4.30 at Musseburgh on Arc day ,that should be shown in preference to
the 1 1/2 mile premier race at Longchamp,in case a few people have had some in running bets.Your logic is staggering.

When: 07 Jun 15 15:20
They could have waited at Perth for the French Champion Hurdle.

When: 07 Jun 15 15:22
What's the problem if it's shown 5 mins later, blunder?
By:

When: 07 Jun 15 15:23
The clue should be in the name of the channel, Racing UK. Anyone who wanted to watch the French could have watched it on ATR. Can't be many RUK viewers without ATR.

When: 07 Jun 15 15:26
Agree with you there. ^^

I can only assume that Racing uk didn't want to lose out to their main rival.

When: 07 Jun 15 15:31
At The Irish Races would have been more interested in their precious 2:05 Curragh surely?

Let's hope the race planners are sensible to ensure the Arc doesn't clash with Kelso or Huntingdon.

Cool
