sandy lane is well past its best, hotel has been living on its reputation for years and is average at best, there are better pools in local leisure centres

and zipper if you'd really been to sandy lane you'd also know the owner (who is a prize ****) closes the pool for his morning dip and couldn't give a flying feck about paying guests when he's onsite, anyone with half a brain wouldn't go in the place with stolen

the last time i went into a sandy lane bar they offered me a chilled bottle of freixenet which used to be a fiver in the supermarket for 50 quid which sums the place up

desmond was one of them johnny yes, not just him, pool staff used to cordon the pool off until they had finished, was a standing joke in the bars along the beach
