Been to Cartmel once but its a bit of a trek changing trains jumping on buses
but worth it for the scenery atmosphere.

Yes, I enjoyed my visits to Cartmel, but cannot imagine going to Cartmel Races unless you had a car!
Absolute nightmare that's why I wouldn't do it again unless I got a lift in a Car..
Did however manage to get a half price ticket off a Guy outside the pub
