Believe what you want sunshine, I'd written out a big spreadsheet with all Sweden's points last year (where they were 3rd with a 210 points or so).

Only worrying moment was when Romania gave them 4 less or so. Other than that, was always confident and kept backing.

The lad was plain PLAIN wrong. His reasoning for backing Sweden was it would win the POPULAR vote comfortably. However.

ITALY ROMPED the POPULAR VOTE.
RUSSIA, who had no chance of beating Sweden in the popular vote, well guess what they came 2nd in the POPULAR VOTE.
SWEDEN came 3rd in the PV.

Sweden only won as the juries (who have a 50% say) voted for it giving it the highest jury score ever.

All in all had this been a public vote like pre 2009 Sweden would have come 3rd and Thunder Road would of done his alleged bet in.
