Not really one for the flat, but there is a horse running tomorrow at a York that I think merits closer inspection. FENDALE is the horse. Made a great start as a 2yo winning its first two and then it seems to lose its form. However there were valid excuses for all those defeats. A York, it banged itself coming out of the stalls. It should of won at Ayr, but had a nightmare passage (or terrible ride), depending on your point of view. The going turned soft at Newmarket, so its last run can be dismissed.
Had it won the race it should, it would easily be rated 100+ and that would put him right in the mix in this race. It can be backed at 25/1 (generally) and couple of books going 1/4 odds.
Tomorrow, should have ground, trip to suit and trainer banged in a couple of winners already. I'm no crooser, but fingers crossed I get a decent run for my money. Any thoughts on this race or the rest of the card?
In the first race I like Monsieur Joe last years winner, should be in amongst it with graham Lee on board, was pulled out last weekend I think and seems laid out for this..14-1 seems generous.
The trends etc point on a couple of outsiders being worth taking a chance on also burning thread and judge n jury. The latter has a fine record in this race apart from the draw scuppering his chances last year.

2:10 - Remain undecided between Perfect Pasture and See The sun , must bet both. 2:40 - Fillies be the death of me, but Ribbons will like the gd/sft ground, no easy task.would rather watch and enjoy. 3:15 - Jack Hobbs I hope will have enough too see off Elm Park. 3:45 - Difficult to enthuse, I like Yourartisonfire for a place. 4:20 - Could see Fast Act bouncing back into some form. 4:50 - Guessing with Munira Eyes 5;20 - Steve Rogers improving fast , unexposed profile wins the day for me, ground a problem?

I have tried very hard to stay quiet about the AOB runners, but it's about time the official had a word, about the state some of their better sorts run(or don't). It was shocking OMR last time , I recall others in previous years not performing in the same way. They never come back the same. (good that's off my chest)

I can't imagine Henry Cecil or Michael Stoute, every running something like this just a few weeks later having never been able too get involved off a reasonable pace, it would have reflected badly on the stable or horse.

I remember backing Power in the english 200gns. Finished last beaten about 40 lengths. 3 weeks later the same horse came out and won the Irish 2000gns. I was both miffed and perplexed.

When something is too good (or bad in this case) to be true,Then it usually is, OLM and JFK were beaten far too much for their for to be remotely believable, Expect much better from both today.
