considering they are trying improve turnover on the sportsbook, the decision to be permanently unders on everything that moves in absolutely any market is unfathomable. If you don't like the jolly they should lay it but its shorter than elsewhere, so they must fancy the field or opposition then but no, also the shortest price in the village. Must have a tie up with Ladbrokes somewhere.

The York Bookies are the best with 4-1 or 5-1 favs in 20 runner races that have no chance..

You`re all looking at this the wrong way around. Instead of moaning about some of them shortening, you should be grateful for the huge value available pre-shortening. Ungrateful wretches, the lot of you.

getting on early is the best thing to do but even Laddies yesterday implemented maximum stake of £10 on 3:
Bellajou @ 20/1 Lexi's Boy @ 25/1 Baraweez @ 25/1 In the immortal words of Barney Curley "cannot have 2 bananas to win a banana" with these bookmakers nowadays |
|
By:
thinking about going to york fri/sat 10/11th july how much a pint? sounds like it will be full,
poss should just head to blackpool instead. |
|
By:
come racing think about this travel, petrol , £35 to get in £40 to get out (joke) £4.50 for a drink thats a pint ....
go to any bookie with a decent bet say £200 plus you will only be on if he / she can get bigger on here .. sit at home no travel , no exes and you can have all you want to drink, no breathleiser ... and you get better prices on here and to grands .. end of |
|
By:
it is still worth going to York - a day's racing is full of interest, some things cannot be measured in hard value terms.
Saw Frankel win at York, will remain in the memory for a long time. However, if you're just going for a day out on the beer, you may as well go somewhere cheaper. |
|
By:
With that logic you would never leave the house! Why go to a gig when you can watch it later on youtube at home for free? Why go out to dinner when you can cook the same thing at home cheaper? Why go to the pub when you can buy drinks from the supermarket much cheaper and drink them at home?

|
By:
agree there

By:
agree with swift tuttle
|
|

yeah i agree its not all aboutthe cost but you are giving away a big % of fun money before you even have fun, blackpool is sounding better lol

garbage, not buying a pint or some rip off merchandise at a pop concert needn,t spoil your enoyment, for 99% of racegoers having a bet does, you go racing for a bet you dont go to a concert to buy a tee shirt
|
|
By:
Have a day out, enjoy watching the horses close up and bet on here. What is the problem? If bookmakers continue to give poor value, they will go out of business.
