I will let him away with that one................. It did look the 2nd was coming through, he did nothing wrong........ I would say every commentator wud have thought the same.

It's his job to commentate on what is happening not what he thinks is going to happen.

He is lamentable.

At the time what he was saying was true but instead of interrupting himself and revising it, he carried on with finishing what he was originally saying and by that time it was all changing in front of his eyes.

He's been at it long enough though to do better, plus must also know the Johnston horses are game and often hard to pass.

unfortunately pp its the plague of modern times that commentators have grown egos and want to give opinions during the call rather than the facts
