it was good to soft yesterday with one mil of rain overnight and currently getting a heavy shower, this was at 6.30am but some how it's dried out to good to firm. crazy

if the ground isn't G/F now then the CoC is lying and has misled trainers, the racegoers and the punting public ( who fund the sport through the levy ). We will see if the winds and sun bake the ground inside a few hours but the going given is for when the plunger was put in the ground. Perhaps he has given an accurate reading? Perhaps he has an agenda?

Perhaps he has an agenda then onlooker? Personally he should be sacked for bringing the sport into disrepute and more importantly misleading punters ( who have jobs and can't follow the racing throughout the day ) and presume they are racing on G/F.

Chester says g/soft Brighton says g/firm, why would you do the Chester groundsman for lying? Groundsman tend and manipulate the surface as best they can following CoC instructions, they don't issue ground details. Even the CoC gave g/soft so he has soft in the description and doesn't appear to be misleading anybody. I fail to see how firm can accurately be in the Brighton description put out by the CoC, yesterday times said not and it has rained since. Not sure what point you are trying to make denathorn.

having the word soft in the description is acceptable and interim rainfall has softened it up further. Nobody has looked at the form today at Chester and backed specialist fast ground horses. At Brighton they may have, just saying.

Tellwright has been deceiving punters and connections for years and is still in place, the BHA are happy. Punters should never bet on the first at Haydock until assessing the ground ( visually admittedly )themselves but it is preferable to trusting Tellitwrong.
