Anyone else have ongoing issues with the stability of their website?? Last couple of weeks have got worse for me......regularly unstable, seizing up, Internet Explorer having to recover webpage and any customised settings not being kept. Have no issues with any other website but that one.

Having intermittent problems with Horse Form (Lifetime History) NOT opening for some horses (randomly) - just a BLANK white page instead.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry others are having issues too but feel better that I am not alone!! Will e mail Racing Post tomorrow. At least we can rely that all the flashing adds on their website are always in fine working order!!

It's the only website I use that regularly causes a 'high cpu usage' warning to come up.

Every time I go to the site my machine revs up and sounds like a 747 engine.

Probably something to do with the massive amounts of ads. Corporate greed.

Host name empty - pop ups taking forever ( nothing new there ) total carp!!!!

RP is the worst website I have ever encountered, makes my Intel I7 CPU crawl along like a ZX Spectrum and the CPU fan spin round at a million miles an hour.

JavaScript errors all over the shop which reload or freeze the pages constantly, RP Betting Site a shambles most days, even with Adblock on its still dire.
Report onlooker May 5, 2015 1:22 PM BST
Which Browser are you using - Big Boss?
Report Big Boss May 5, 2015 1:23 PM BST
IE 99% of the time, Chrome just as poor

firefox and adblocker will sort that out

Report deadbrain59 May 5, 2015 1:31 PM BST
brilliant free site, im on windows 7 firefox.

Big Boss -

BIN Internet Explorer Browser - It is the weakest of the lot for ALL sites - and especially RacingPost.

Internet Explorer Browser is being RETIRED by Microsoft shortly - with the FULL launch of Windows 10.

NO further updates to Internet Explorer will be released.

If Microsoft have conceded DEFEAT with it - why struggle along using it?
-----------

For RacingPost.com - you want to use Mozilla Firefox - and Download AdBlockPlus+ (Advert Blocker) .......... Job done.

Always has always will be when the owners (!) are money grabbing b astards..

Do not pay those clowns to access the site.

They e mailed today in reply to me notifying them of site issues. Their IT team are aware of these issues & a fix has been released. Fingers crossed it does the trick. Again, the site was unusable for me at times yesterday afternoon.
Report spyker May 6, 2015 9:28 AM BST
As others have said get some sort of adblok for your browser - won't solve the issues but it makes things run smoother.
Report Breedingmad May 6, 2015 9:55 AM BST
Might be something to do with Browsefox

Rpost has been a nightmare last month or so. Pop ups not loading ect. Downloaded latest version of Adobe flash this morning and it seems to have done the trick not sure why? But an improvement Happy

On RP site all day & no issues. Hopefully, whatever fix they applied has worked.

Since yesterday evening, nearly all racing pages seem to have most horses priced at 1.33. This often happens when a race has only been up for a short time but now it is staying up for until the off with only the first 2 or 3 in the betting changing. The first race today at Chester is showing 3.25 for Collaboration, 5.7 Tres Coronas and 1.33 the rest. Is everyone on strike or is the site to blame?
Report sageform May 7, 2015 7:33 AM BST
Working fine now on Explorer so it must be Chrome that caused the problem. The forum only works in a separate window on Explorer though which is why I seldom use it these days. If cars and planes relied on these terrible programs we would all be dead or travelling on foot.
Report ewood May 9, 2015 2:39 PM BST
2 days of behaving itself & now site not responding when trying to look at a horse's form. The website is a joke.

Most of the races i want to watch replays of don't exist.

All kinds of problems today ......
Report ewood May 12, 2015 3:05 PM BST
Been ok so far today but usual problems yesterday. Get the impression they keep applying an Elastoplast onto something that needs major surgery. Equivalent of putting a new windscreen wiper on a car with an engine that is knackered.
