had a look at that link gm10 ...on Mubtaahij

Made an abolutely mockery of the field in the G2 UAE Derby. The problem with this horse is that he has never even come close to chasing Derby-like early fractions. He'll be 15 lengths behind after two furlongs if he goes the pace he's been used to. He's taking a step into the unknown here.

Was very brave the winner.

Frosting closing too late, had they gone a second quicker at halfway, he'd have gone extremely close. Pace was average to slow.

espinoza made that look hard, he should have taken a pull instead of going soooo wide on bend

How many days holiday would Victor Espinoza have got for his whip use over here?

they don't "whip" them over there...it's more like hacking, brutal and barbaric at times.

The first time I went racing in America to the Preakness in 1981 I was totally shocked by the whip use in every race. The Aussies were at one time as bad.

Quote from an America racing friend.
I was a bit more concerned with Gary Stevens sending Firing Line too early. He started the move right at the turn into the top of the stretch. He should have started deep to mid-stretch. I don't see a Triple Crown here. The winner had all he could do get the lead, lose it and regain it for the win at 1 1/4 miles. The Preakness is 1 3/16 and could set up nicely for Firing Line.
Materiality will probably not blow the start there as he did here and having to pass 11 horses in the final quarter.

I firmly believe American pharoah will win the Preakness, Espinoza had him far too wide and made a stupid run around the final bend, the horse has too much speed and will likely not get home in the Belmont

The one thing America needs to do is reduce the maximum field to like 15, them gates are not even lined up straight at the beginning, low draws have so much advantage it I untrue, Dortmund and firing line were drawn 8 and 10, late finishing frosted drawn 15
