You either go forward from stall 1 at Lingfield or you take a pull, everyone knows that. And with Spencer riding a hold-up horse what did anyone expect other than what happened. The horse was always going to be held up. True, Spencer might have over-done it again (when doesn't he), but the horse didn't do a tap in straight. It had the perfect sling-shot into the straight, had plenty of track down the outside to run, and yet didn't pass a horse. It just didn't quicken one bit. Really not sure how you can blame Spencer for that horse losing by 10 lengths today. |
