whatever link I use (including the one you suggested) my mobile routes it to the damn mobile app!
I had this problem when I acquired the phone ( Samsung Galaxy Note 3) a couple of years ago but I found a very helpful chappie in Betfair Customer Service who seemed to know a way round the issue and sent me a text containing a longer ,more complicated link which didn't swap instantly to the mobile app. I was able to bookmark it and have used it ever since........until this morning when all my bookmarks vanished due to virus 'issues'.

I have yet to find anyone in customer service who is aware of the 'special link' .......hence trying here.

Delete all links to porn on your phone to solve the virus issues

If you type in betfair.com then roll down to the bottom there is a 'full site' option - that should take you to the desktop site ?

bobbyjo.....chance would be a fine thing ! As soon as the word betfair is typed in seemingly any combination the phone routes to the Mobile site.

Yesterday I successfully saved the Oddschecker desktop site as a bookmark on my mobile. This morning I find it has changed to their hopeless mobile app too !!!

Perhaps get a better phone instead of some third-rate Samsung product.

If you roll down to the bottom of the mobile site there is a full site option - do you not get that ?

bobbyjo, yes and every trime I clicked on it yesterday it diverted to the mobile site. Just tried it six times on the bounce and at the sixth attempt it stayed on the desktop site. Next I tried for the old site. Again took six stabs but finally it accepted the instruction.
Hopefully that's it sorted now and it doesn't change back to mobile app. Thanks to all who offered helpful suggestions.

Johnny Mustang, I'm a big fan of the Galaxy note. But if would going in the bin if I had to use Betfair Mobile app !!

You can do this on an android phone. Use the Dolphin browser & I think you change the user agent to desktop in the settings
